Nia Calloway

Founder and attorney, Calloway Counsel

An engineer turned business lawyer, working with founders and owners across the Front Range.

Nia spent six years designing industrial equipment before law school, and she still treats a contract like a spec: who has to do what, by when, and what happens when they don't.

She started Calloway Counsel to give small companies the kind of counsel larger ones take for granted: someone who knows the business, answers quickly and explains the tradeoffs in plain words. She works from an office by Union Station and meets clients wherever they are.

How it works

How an engagement runs

  1. 01

    Step 1: Intro call

Twenty minutes on what you need, what it's worth to you and whether I'm the right fit.

  2. 02

    Step 2: Written scope

A short engagement letter with the work, the deliverables and the fee or estimate. Nothing is billed before you sign it.

  3. 03

    Step 3: The work

Drafts arrive with notes on the choices in them. You get updates when something changes, not invoices that surprise you.

  4. 04

    Step 4: Close-out

Signed documents, a summary of what each one does and a reminder list of dates to watch.

Let's see if we're a fit.

An intro call is the fastest way to find out.
